About The Role Service Administration Assistant
Location: Reading
Salary: £, per annum
Hours: per week (days Wednesday & Thursday – am to pm)
Contract: Permanent

If you would love to be part of a team providing crucial assistance to vital services, read on… You will assist the Health and Care Services in Berkshire and the wider Business Support team across the South and Channel Islands.
What will a day in the life of a Service Administration Assistant involve?
- Providing efficient, professional assistance to colleagues, members of the public and external organisations.
- Being confident answering telephone enquiries.
- General administrative duties, including dealing with incoming and outgoing emails.
- Organising meetings and taking notes.
- Data entry and preparing reports with great accuracy.
What do you need to be a successful Service Administration Assistant?
- Strong communication skills. Ability to deliver clear communications both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in dealing with telephone enquiries in a competent manner.
- Enthusiasm about customer service whilst maintaining great attention to detail.
- Excellent administration skills.
- IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft packages.
You will be working between British Red Cross office in Reading and Reading Borough Council offices. You must have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a greater team.
