About The Role

As a Service Admin Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our colleagues in our Health & Care directorate. From managing communications and coordinating meetings to handling data and assisting volunteers, your work will help ensure our services run efficiently and compassionately. You’ll be part of a dynamic and inclusive team, contributing to a mission that puts people first. Whether responding to enquiries, maintaining accurate records, or assisting with financial and property-related tasks, your attention to detail and positive approach will be key. What will a day in the life of a Service Admin Assistant involve?
- Supporting staff and volunteers with a wide range of admin tasks to keep services running smoothly.
- Answering phone calls and emails with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
- Booking travel and meetings, taking minutes, and arranging facilities when needed.
- Handling invoices, expenses, and purchases in line with our financial procedures.
- Keeping data accurate and secure, and helping to create useful reports and spreadsheets.
- Welcoming visitors and signposting people to the right services with kindness and care.
What do you need to be a successful Service Admin Assistant?
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and written skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and telephone systems.
- Able to handle queries with professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy.
- Skilled at checking documents for accuracy and managing multiple tasks.
- Experienced in general admin duties like filing, scanning, and greeting visitors.
