Additional Requirement: Full UK driving licence required and access to a vehicle - business mileage paid.

Do you thrive in a role where no two days are the same? As a Senior Practitioner, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality care and support within a regulated service. Working closely with the Service Manager, you’ll ensure service users receive compassionate, person-centred support while guiding and mentoring staff to grow in their roles. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
What will a day in the life of a Senior Practitioner involve?
- Coordinating referrals and liaising with hospitals, GP surgeries, and community teams.
- Supporting and mentoring staff, students, and volunteers to deliver excellent care.
- Conducting risk assessments and welfare checks to ensure safe living environments.
- Managing rotas, responding to out-of-hours queries, and maintaining service continuity.
To be a successful Senior Practitioner, what will you need?
- SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and PDA in Supervision (or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.
- Experience in person-centred planning and multi-disciplinary working.
- Confidence in mentoring staff and supporting their ongoing development.
