Location: Dundee
Salary: £31,797 per annum (inclusive of an Enhanced Responsibility Allowance)
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Permanent
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required. Business mileage will be paid.
This is a Regulated Service and registration with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) is required.
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care? We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead vital health & care services, making a meaningful difference to the lives of vulnerable people in Dundee.
For over 75 years, the British Red Cross has supported the NHS and provided a lifeline for vulnerable individuals, supporting people in crisis following an emergency. If you are organised and motivated then this is a fantastic opportunity to join our Health and Care team as a Registered Manager. You will manage health and care services, ensuring all appropriate standards and requirements are met and service contracts maintained.
What does a day in the life of a Registered Manager involve?

• Implement services in line with national guidelines, tailored to meet local needs.
• Ensure alignment with the Corporate Plan and maintain service standards.
• Manage staff, support training, and set clear goals for development.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor service outcomes and produce reports for stakeholders.
• Lead service development, build partnerships, and manage budgets effectively.

What does it take to be a successful Registered Manager?

• Proven management experience with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
• Experience working in regulated care services and liaising with regulators.
• Background in health, social care, or voluntary sector delivering high-quality support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Skilled in preparing, managing, and monitoring service budgets.
