What a day in the life of a Registered Manager involves:
- Leading the day-to-day running of a regulated Care at Home service.
- Supporting staff and volunteers through supervision, training, and development.
- Monitoring service quality, outcomes, and compliance with care standards.
- Managing budgets, staffing levels, and ensuring person‑centred support plans are in place.
To be a successful Registered Manager, what will you need:
- SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and a PDA in Supervision (or equivalent).
- Experience managing care services, including staff supervision and budget control.
- Strong understanding of health and social care standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
