Responsibilities
- Leading the full procurement lifecycle from strategy development through tendering, evaluation, negotiation and contract award.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and influence decision‑making.
- Delivering procurement strategies that drive savings, efficiencies and improved commercial outcomes.
- Managing project timelines, risks and reporting to ensure successful delivery.
- Providing high‑quality management information and insight throughout the tender‑to‑contract process.
Qualifications
- Qualified to degree level (or equivalent by experience) with membership (or working towards one) of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to collect, manipulate, and deliver data for insightful management information.
- Experience of negotiating, awarding and managing contracts throughout the procurement lifecycle, with knowledge of relevant markets, products and services.
- Experience delivering end‑to‑end procurement strategies and projects within IT categories.
- Developing and leading assigned sourcing strategies.
- Experience in managing large value categories.
- Ability to manage suppliers across a large supply base, with strong stakeholder management skills.
