As our Deal shop prepares to reopen following a major refit, we're looking for an inspiring Shop Manager to lead the next chapter of its journey. What will a day in the life of a Shop Manager involve?
- Leading a team that provides a brilliant shopping experience for your customers.
- Working on the shop floor, coordinating activity behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
- Designing the perfect layout and environment that helps connect your customers to our cause.
- Being responsible for achieving financial targets and inducting, training, and managing new staff and volunteers.
- Representing the British Red Cross to a high standard and embodying our core values.
To be a successful Shop Manager, what will you need?
- Retail experience at supervisory level. You can deliver outstanding customer service and are comfortable with organisational and cash handling duties.
- Proven management skills; you know how to develop and inspire your team.
- An entrepreneurial spirit who can work to targets, using your initiative to achieve fantastic results.
- Proficiency in IT and proven computer skills.
- A passion for the British Red Cross cause and the ability to promote the shop in your community as the charity retailer of choice.
