In collaboration with LDN Apprenticeships, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated person to join our Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship.
You will complete a 12-month apprenticeship, followed by an End Point Assessment. You will dedicate approximately six hours per week to off-the-job learning, whilst sharing learning progress with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.Are you ready to join the team?
As IT apprentice, you will begin your journey in BRC Technology by learning how to support the delivery of technology services and operational processes. Under the guidance and supervision of experienced team members, you’ll gain hands-on experience in resolving incidents and fulfilling requests while developing your technical and customer service Skills. Please note: Thesuccessful candidate must be available to commence employment by the Start of September 2025.
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and Service Now requests for Support and Requests.
- Learn how to create a track, monitor and escalate problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Escalate more complex issues to senior ITSO members or appropriate resolver groups when required.
- Assist in identifying, researching and resolving problems reported by end-users.
- Support the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software, including portable and handheld devices.
- Learn how to document processes and actively contribute to building our knowledge base.
- Assist in setting up user accounts and general user administration tasks.
- Assist in managing stock control of consumables and hardware, including ordering, distribution, and paperwork, located in the office\’s store areas.
- Complete visits to remote sites with help from more senior team members
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Awareness of authentication technologies, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Authenticator and SSO/MFA.
- Ability and experience of handling customer queries and complaints with empathy.
- Ability to create technical documentation and user guidance materials
- Awareness of unified communications technologies and how they are best served to support the customer
- Experience working in an enterprise technology environment
- Experience tracking and logging work in a ITSM / Confluence tooling
