A fabulous opportunity has arisen for two people to join our dedicated Ecommerce team selling pre-loved fashion and donated goods on online auctions and sales sites. With the wide array of treasures that we sell, from clothing to more specialist items, no two days will be the same. It\'s such a rewarding role as all profits made go towards helping people in crisis at home and overseas.
What will a day in the life of a Ecommerce Assistant be like?
  • Supporting with the day to day running of online sales.
  • Liaising with shops to coordinate the transfer of stock.
  • Researching donated items to ensure they\'re priced competitively, writing eye-catching item descriptions and photographing stock.
  • Posting items to customers in a timely manner, and maintaining excellent customer feedback from buyers.
What does it take to be a successful Ecommerce Assistant?
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of online marketplaces such as Ebay and DEPOP.
  • Strong communication skills - you thrive on delivering excellent customer service and know how to write compelling listings.
  • Confident IT user and are comfortable behind a camera. You\'ll assist with the photography of items, so you\'ll have an awareness of how to display items in a creative manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills ; you can plan a busy and varied workload.
  • You see the value in pre-owned items. You can help make their uniqueness and value shine through.
