Salary: £24,479 per annum (pro rata for roles under 35 hours).

Hours: 16, 24, and 35 hours available.

Contract: Permanent.

Regulated Service: Must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting the role.

  • Ensuring all care documentation is accurate and up to date.

What does it take to be a successful Service Support Worker?

  • Right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Previous experience in a similar care, preferably within a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of person‑centred care principles and a commitment to upholding dignity and autonomy.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not mandatory.
