Overview
Shop Manager – Location: Truro.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven retail leader to manage our busy shop, motivate the team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while supporting our charity cause.
What will a day in the life of a Shop Manager involve?
- Lead a team to provide a brilliant shopping experience for customers.
- Work on the shop floor and coordinate activities behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
- Design the layout and environment to connect customers with our cause.
- Achieve financial targets and induct, train, and manage staff and volunteers.
- Represent the British Red Cross to a high standard and embody our core values.
To be a successful Shop Manager, what will you need?
- Retail experience at supervisory level with strong customer service, organisational, and cash-handling skills.
- Proven ability to develop and inspire a team and get the best out of people.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work to targets and use initiative to achieve results.
- Competence with PC and IT skills.
- Commitment to the British Red Cross cause and ability to promote the shop as the charity retailer of choice in the community.
