Are you ready to lead a team that supports fundraisers to unlock opportunities and maximise impact through prospect development, stewardship, communications and events? We're looking for a dynamic leader for our Stewardship & Operations team, a critical enabling function at the heart of our Partnerships and Philanthropy strategy.
A day in the life of our Head of Stewardship & Operations:
- You'll lead a talented team who are focused on finding, growing and nurturing relationships with our high-value supporters.
- Being central to the growth of the Partnerships and Philanthropy function, you'll work across the department to support major donors, trusts and foundations, institutional funders, and corporate partners.
- Using an inclusive style, you'll ensure people are nurtured and supported to grow.
- By leading stewardship, events, and communications you'll implement a quality, informative and joyful engagement and stewardship programme for donors, partners and prospects.
- You'll improve how we use insights, ensuring it's used to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- You'll drive cross-functional collaboration, particularly within the wider Marketing and Fundraising Department, to champion high-value supporters and uncover new organisational opportunities.
- Working closely with other Heads in the directorate, you'll prioritise and align resources to accelerate income growth through transformational partnerships.
- Your endeavour will help transform the experience of high value donors with the British Red Cross.
- You'll help bring their support to life and demonstrate their impact, all with the aim of increasing their engagement.
To be a successful Head of Stewardship & Operations, you'll need:
- A dynamic, compassionate, courageous, and inclusive style of leadership.
- Deep understanding of Partnerships and Philanthropy audiences (corporate, institutional, philanthropy).
- Experience of leading effective partnership and philanthropy fundraising operations, systems, and processes that enable high value growth.
- A strategic mindset with strong planning and project management skills.
