Location: Southmead Hospital and Bristol Royal Infirmary

Salary: £22,932 per annum

Hours: 35 per week (Monday to Friday, 12pm – 8pm)

Contract: Permanent

Additional Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years and access to a vehicle. Please note: You must have the right to work in the UK. We’re unable to provide sponsorship at this time.

What will a day in the life of a Support Worker involve?

  • Providing practical and emotional support, including welfare calls, shopping, and home visits.
  • Supporting adults after a hospital stay to help them recover safely at home.
  • Responding to referrals from clinicians and community health professionals.
  • Assessing needs and following a personalised support plan for each service user.

To be a successful Support Worker, what will you need?

  • A kind, calm and confident approach with great people skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles.
  • Basic IT skills and a commitment to following procedures.
