This role is covering maternity leave for a core member of our research team. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge of the Private Capital industry to identify and report on sector trends, including deal activity, sustainability, and diversity.
Responsibilities include:
- Core publications: Managing data collection and benchmarking for BVCA’s publications such as the Report on Investment Activity, Performance Measurement Survey, Venture Capital in the UK, Diversity in UK Private Equity and Venture Capital, and Creating Sustainable Growth.
- Data collection & validation: Understanding BVCA’s data platform, collaborating with the membership team, contacting members for survey eligibility, providing technical support, and auditing data submissions for accuracy.
- Analysis & interpretation: Analyzing datasets to identify trends, preparing statistics, and working with communications teams to present data effectively.
- Market intelligence: Reviewing third-party data sources to understand the PE/VC/private credit markets and support membership growth.
- Thought leadership: Producing research reports, responding to data requests, collaborating on external research projects, and summarizing findings for newsletters.
