We are seeking an experienced & values-driven DeputyChief Operating Officer to join the BPAS Senior Leadership Team at asignificant time for the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Deputy ChiefOperating Officer will help to shape operational strategy, lead transformationproviding a clear direction of travel that aligns with business andtransformation plans, & ensure the highest standards of patient care across anational healthcare charity. Working closely with Executive colleagues & seniorleaders, you will help ensure BPAS has the leadership, workforce & organisational resilience needed to deliver high-quality care & support tothe women we serve.
Main duties of the job
As Deputy Chief Operating Officer, you will provide senior operational leadership across BPAS, helping to translate strategy into operational delivery & leading programmes that improve access, quality, productivity & patient outcomes. You will work collaboratively with operational, nursing, midwifery & medical leaders to drive innovation, improve performance and support the development of new models of care and service delivery.
About You
We are looking for a senior operational leader with significant leadership experience in a complex multi-site and/or regulated environment.
You will bring:
- Experience within reproductive healthcare, women's health or a related specialty is essential.
- A proven track record of senior operational leadership.
- Experience of delivering large-scale service transformation & improvement.
- Significant experience of performance management, capacity planning, KPI delivery and corrective action plans.
- Experience of managing resources, large budgets and/or cost improvements.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management and quality assurance.
- Excellent relationship-building & influencing skills, with the ability to work across professional & organisational boundaries
- The ability to lead confidently through change, balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery.

Location: Hybrid Based in Head office and working from home with days in Head Office Leamington Spa and BPAS Units when required.

Salary: Β£85,000- Β£90,000
Hours Per Week: 36 hours Monday to Friday
NB: Shifts that are longer than 6 hours, will include a 30 minutes unpaid break.
On call: All members of the Senior Operating Team will be required to participate in a on-call rota. The On-Call policy and procedure is being reviewed and revised, however it is envisaged that participation will involve being available to receive emergency / on-call telephone calls up to 9pm Monday to Friday and on Saturdays and Sundays approximately 4 times per year.
Holidays: 34 days per year, including Bank Holidays. (Pro-rata for part time staff)
