We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join our Bournemouth unit on a casual basis. The role involves carrying out administration tasks efficiently and friendly, ensuring clients feel accepted, supported and confident.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with internal and external colleagues.
  • Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork.
  • Monitor, edit and amend appointment list using the BPAS booking system, informing clients of changes.
  • Assist in monitoring, controlling and ordering stock, sorting, distributing incoming mail and preparing and dispatching statistical information and reports.
  • Deal face‑to‑face with patients who may be upset, in a care environment.
  • Perform clerical procedures, including checking documentation, telephone and reception duties.
  • Show good attention to detail, support colleagues and clients as an effective team player.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in an office environment and carrying out administrative duties.
  • Experience with clerical procedures, checking documentation, telephone and reception duties.
  • Experience dealing face‑to‑face with upset patients in a care environment.
  • English & Maths qualification: GCSE A-C, Functional Skills Level 2, GCSE 4* or NVQ level 2.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.

Salary and Hours

£13.08 – £14.73 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Ad‑hoc shift pattern, Monday to Friday as required.
