We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join our Bournemouth unit on a casual basis. The role involves carrying out administration tasks efficiently and friendly, ensuring clients feel accepted, supported and confident.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with internal and external colleagues.
- Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork.
- Monitor, edit and amend appointment list using the BPAS booking system, informing clients of changes.
- Assist in monitoring, controlling and ordering stock, sorting, distributing incoming mail and preparing and dispatching statistical information and reports.
- Deal face‑to‑face with patients who may be upset, in a care environment.
- Perform clerical procedures, including checking documentation, telephone and reception duties.
- Show good attention to detail, support colleagues and clients as an effective team player.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an office environment and carrying out administrative duties.
- Experience with clerical procedures, checking documentation, telephone and reception duties.
- Experience dealing face‑to‑face with upset patients in a care environment.
Understanding that this is a casual vacancy on an ad‑hoc basis covering annual leave and sickness.

Salary and Hours
