Mechanical Technician – London – Keeping the UK Moving 24/7/365

What will you be doing?

You will join our Operations and Maintenance team in providing maintenance and inspection services to maintain 98% plant availability targets within storage terminals and pipeline systems operated by BPA.

What do we need from you?

  1. Someone who enjoys a varied working life and a love of the outdoors.
  2. A recognised professional qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline to NVQ level 3 or equivalent standard; or extensive demonstrable experience in lieu of this.
  3. Awareness of fundamental Health and Safety practices in the workplace.
  4. Experience of maintenance, root cause fault analysis and ability to work under pressure.
  5. Happy to participate in an out-of-hours call-out roster for response to breakdowns, system alarms or other operational requirements.
