The predicted salary is between 35 - 105 Β£ per hour.

We are looking for registered doctors or pharmacists currently in clinical practice with experience of working with foundation level prescribers in the NHS to join our authoring team.

Authors are responsible for writing and reviewing our prescribing education questions in the 8 Prescribing Skills Assessment item styles, following house style guide and PSA blueprint, in line with standard UK practice and BNF/NICE guidance.

Authors should be able to commit to around 10 hours per month.

Remuneration: Β£35 - Β£105 per question completed and accepted, depending on question type.

Applications will close on 28th February 2026.

Being a BPSA author precludes involvement in writing, editing, reviewing or approving content for the national high stakes Prescribing Safety Assessment.
