We’re offering an exciting opportunity to lead the charge in distributing some of the UK’s most loved and fastest-growing drinks brands, including WKD, bottlegreen, Mex, Shandy Shack, and more, across the Northwest region. You’ll be the face of our brands locally, building new relationships, energising existing accounts, and protecting key partnerships. You’ll be out in the field, connecting with local businesses, hospitality venues, and influencers, bringing our brands to life.
You’ll also play a hands-on role in local marketing activations, working closely with our wider Marketing and Sales teams to create buzz, drive footfall, and spark product engagement. It’s a role that blends commercial impact with creative flair, with exposure across the wider business to fuel your growth and progression.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Category Growth:
- Win new business and grow existing accounts across independent and regional multiple operators, driving sales, brand awareness, and consumer engagement.
- Build collaborative customer partnerships that turn brand ambition into real-world success. You’ll be the link between customer needs and brand strategy.
- Boost distribution, visibility, and availability by identifying gaps, setting clear targets, and aligning customer needs with brand strengths.
- Create and deliver bold, account-specific activations that drive NPD, volume, and sustainable growth, balancing brand and customer objectives while managing cost investment.
Operational Excellence:
- Design and deliver promotional plans that excite customers and drive results, all built into our planning tools for seamless execution.
- Hit key KPIs aligned with brand and company goals, always operating within the Portman Group and SHS codes of conduct.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Demand Planning, Commercial Finance, and more, ensuring a joined-up approach that maximises impact.
- Tap into powerful networks, from RTM account managers to bartenders and hospitality operators, to win new business and protect existing relationships.
- Embrace flexibility.Be ready to engage with customers.

Experience/Qualifications
We’re looking for confident, driven Sales professionals who thrive on a challenge and enjoy building strong relationships. If you have 12–24 months of experience in a similar role and a passion for the drinks industry, this could be your next big move.
If you come from hospitality, as a supervisor, bar manager, or mixologist and have built a strong network across the Northwest on-trade scene, we’d alsolove to hear from you. This is your chance to step across the bar and bring your insider knowledge into a fast-paced commercial role.
