We are looking for an experienced barista to join our team at our artisan bakery on Upper St in Islington. We have an established customer base of local regulars and many customers come to us from afar, mostly for our quick rise to fame with our vegan pastries.
What we require:
- Well‑presented and a good team player.
- Upbeat and able to lead a team to deliver exceptional service at all times.
- Able to perform in a busy environment.
- Passionate about hospitality.
- Comfortable understanding of coffee recipes, dialling in, steaming beautiful, glossy milk.
- Curiosity‑driven work approach.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Desire to grow and develop new skills & able to work on weekends.
What we offer:
- Full time – 45 hours per week (5 working days and 2 days off).
- Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum.
- Staff lunch every shift (cooked on site every day).
About British Patagonia: British Patagonia is an independent artisan bakery on Upper Street, Islington. By day, we bake everything in‑house – sourdough, viennoiseries, and well‑known vegan pastries – alongside carefully sourced specialty coffee.
