About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Group Analysis Accountant ideally with experience in publishing & digital services to join our Finance team. In this newly created role, the successful applicant will collaborate and partner with the Group Chief Financial Officer supporting, monitoring and advising on financial performance across the BMA Group to enable informed representation at all Group Board meetings.

The role has a significant amount of autonomy and a variety of responsibilities including financial reporting and analysis, providing commercial support, budgeting and forecasting, and investment reporting. There will also be opportunities to identify improvements to financial reporting processes, systems, and controls across the group.

This is a hybrid role and will involve a mix of working from home and a minimum of 1 day per week from BMA House in Central London.

To be successful as a Group Analysis Accountant you’ll have:

  • A relevant and up-to-date accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a financial analysis or group reporting role
  • Experience and understanding of publishing and digital services sectors
  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation, reporting and analysis processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and knowledge of MS Dynamics and Power BI would be an advantage
