Key Responsibilities
- Conduct administration duties including answering phone calls, responding to emails and following up enquiries for our product range.
- Provide exceptional customer service before and after the sale.
- Identify potential customers through various methods.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Provide technical sales support (after suitable product training) to both trade and end-user customers.
- Manage orders from technical specification (after suitable product training) through to manufacturing.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a sales role within the marine industry or a closely related sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Technical sales competence and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A results-driven, team-oriented individual with a positive mind-set.
- Previously worked in a customer-interfacing role.
- Proven ability to work under own initiative and prioritise tasks and projects to achieve deadlines.
- General computer literacy and telecoms skills.
- Marine or engineering experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for technical products and the Marine industry.
- Marine/engineering/business degree would be beneficial (not essential).
The role is primarily office based and a competitive salary package will be offered to candidates who demonstrate the required skills and experience. This is a full-time role (38 hours per week).
