The position of Marina & Boatyard Operative has become available at Noss on Dart Marina on the stunning River Dart. Working as part of a small, hardworking team, this multi-facetted role will include, but is not limited to, boatyard and dry stack operations, duties on the pontoons and in the marina reception, carrying out general marina maintenance and contributing to site cleanliness and presentation.

A good knowledge of boats and experience driving plant would be a significant advantage but not essential as training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to understand and deliver excellent customer service
  • Flexibility and adaptability to both marina and boatyard operations
  • Ability to learn and use computer software systems
  • A can do attitude and a flexible approach to teamwork

This role will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions on a shift pattern that covers a 7 day week operation. The successful applicant would be required to work some weekends and bank/public holidays as per the duty rota. A full UK driving licence is essential.
