If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Premier Marinas is seeking to recruit a Boatyard Supervisor to join our friendly and dedicated team at Chichester Marina. This is a varied and dynamic role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to take on added responsibility and support a small team within a busy and vibrant marina environment. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting and guiding a small team of boatyard operatives in day-to-day tasks
  • Operating a range of boatyard machinery including straddle hoist, forklift, tractor/boat mover, HIAB crane and towing boats
  • Assisting with the smooth running of the boatyard
  • Delivering excellent customer service to berth holders, contractors and tenants
  • Working closely with colleagues across the marina to ensure efficient operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience operating boatyard plant and machinery
  • Some experience supporting or mentoring others (desirable, not essential)
  • Customer‑facing or customer service experience
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • A full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

This is an outdoor position, working year round in all weather conditions. Flexibility is important, as the role may include some weekend working.
