Requirements
- Experience in the Marine and Boating Environment is preferable
- A strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable, careful and professional approach
- Experience lifting boats would be an advantage, although training can be provided
Key Responsibilities
- Antifouling and general boat maintenance
- General yard duties including organising equipment and materials
- Carrying out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures
- Assisting drivers and yard staff with deliveries and collections
- Lifting boats out of and into the water
- Loading and unloading boats to transport
- Chocking boats onto the hardstanding
