As a Technology AI Business Partner, you will translate British Land’s AI strategy into practical, value‑led delivery across the business. You will act as a key enabler connecting Technology, Governance and business teams, ensuring AI tools and automation are deployed where they create clear value within defined governance and risk guardrails.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Digital Skills & AI Forum to drive adoption of AI productivity tools.
  • Support well‑governed AI proofs of concept (PoCs).
  • Help teams translate real business problems into clearly scoped, value‑led AI initiatives.
  • Ensure AI activity is tracked, governed and aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Act as the day‑to‑day business partner for AI adoption across Corporate, Real Estate, Development and Operations.
  • Translate strategic objectives into practical AI use cases with clear outcomes, benefits and delivery plans.
  • Distinguish between everyday productivity use, specialist AI tools and higher‑risk agentic or workflow automation.
  • Provide hands‑on expertise to the Digital Skills & AI Forum, support adoption of approved AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT where approved), and identify high‑value use cases.
  • Partner with business teams to shape specialist AI opportunities, defining success measures, business cases and scoping proposals for governance.
  • Coordinate PoCs with Tech colleagues and suppliers to ensure timely, well‑governed delivery.
  • Document benefits, costs and risks within the AI use‑case portfolio.
  • Ensure AI initiatives follow agreed governance and acceptable‑use frameworks, escalating appropriately based on risk.
  • Support the AI Board through accurate use‑case documentation, benefits tracking and early visibility of issues.
  • Embed consistent benefits tracking so AI value is measurable.
  • Support demand‑shaping and scoping of material back‑office automation initiatives beyond Microsoft suite.
  • Provide requirements and scoping input for commissioning on a project basis.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a Technology Business Partner, Business Analyst or similar role, working closely with non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of how digital and AI tools can improve processes, productivity and decision‑making.
  • Experience shaping requirements, business cases and benefits tracking.
  • Ability to explain AI concepts clearly and pragmatically to non‑technical audiences.
  • Comfortable navigating governance, risk and compliance considerations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
