THE ROLE
Work with the Head of Retail Parks to asset manage a diverse portfolio of retail parks, delivering sector‑leading performance, managing assets intelligently, implementing business plans, and making long‑term strategic decisions.
- WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Implement and create asset‑level Business Plans.
- Manage internal and external teams to achieve asset‑level objectives.
- Liaise with development, leasing, operations, acquisition, finance, legal and compliance teams to deliver initiatives.
- Regularly report on asset performance.
- Develop and deliver the asset leasing strategy, either by working closely with the Leasing Team or by delivering it directly with leasing agents on assets that don’t have a BL Leasing Manager.
- Negotiate legal contracts / leases.
- Use customer insight and research to inform the leasing strategy, working closely with the customer insight team and analysing performance and affordability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Joint‑Venture partners, retail customers and local authorities.
- Communicate and collaborate with the asset management and leasing teams on business‑wide initiatives.
- Support the development of less experienced members of the asset team.
- Participate in the business’ key customer account programme, covering top retailer occupiers.
- Liaise with the analyst team on appraisal and valuation processes.
- Ensure the B2B marketing strategy aligns with leasing aspirations and remains on brand.
- Adhere to British Land asset management processes and procedures.

- Significant experience in Retail Park Asset Management.
- Leadership with strong influencing skills and a proven track record of delivering results.
