We have an exciting opportunity, full of progression, for an enthusiastic General Warehouse Operative to join our award winning team at the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry, Shropshire. We’re looking for someone who enjoys a varied work day, learning about all areas of our exciting business.
Full training will be provided, previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Forklift license is preferred but not required, training may be provided if necessary.
- Physical fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Reliability and punctuality: Consistent attendance and timeliness.
- Attention to detail: Accuracy in inventory management.
- Teamwork skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Safety awareness: Adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Training and information will be provided on site. Responsibilities include:
- Unloading containers efficiently & safely.
- Replenishing stock and general warehouse maintenance.
- Helping the warehouse manager and supervisors in the maintenance and safe running of the warehouse.
- Efficiently moving received goods to designated storage locations within the warehouse.
- General warehouse health and safety ensuring all areas of the warehouse are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Assisting with stocktaking & maintenance of accurate inventory records.
- Assisting with other areas of the business when required.

Ability to commute/relocate: Oswestry: reliably commute, please note access via public transport is limited. Pay: £12.50 per hour.
