An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join Salisbury & South Wilts Golf Club. Set in the glorious Wiltshire countryside close to the medieval City of Salisbury, both of the downland courses offer magnificent views for miles around. The testing Cathedral 18-hole layout has been in play since 1991 carefully combining holes from the old course and new ones built in 1984, and the easier going Bibury 9-hole course from an 1894 design by J H Taylor. All 27 holes are maintained to a very high standard by a dedicated team of professionals, with the quality of the greens and the presentation of the course highly praised by golfers throughout the year.
Responsibilities and position requirements:
- Minimum 2 years green keeping experience
- NVQ Level 2 preferred but not essential as the Club is keen to invest in staff training and education for the right person
- Be a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail
- A full driving licence
Working hours:
- 6am-2pm summer
- 7am-3pm Winter
Benefits:
- Holiday 28 days per year increasing by one day per year to a maximum of 33 days per year including bank holidays

Remuneration:
An attractive salary package will be based on the applicant’s experience. This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour week. You will also be on a weekend rota which involves work every third weekend, three hours Saturday and Sunday.
