An opportunity has become available for an individual to join the greenkeeping team here at Prestatyn Golf Club. We are seeking a hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic greenkeeper who wants to thrive and excel themselves with a great opportunity to progress their career.
The Role
- The ability to work closely with the Course Manager, update and provide key information, when required.
- To be able to work as an individual or with the team.
- Have the knowledge and confidence to go out mowing, complete course set ups and be part of the continuous projects throughout the winter.
- Be able to apply fertilizer throughout the year (where qualified).
- Having a keen eye for detail and presentation when out on the course.
- Time management essential as early starts throughout the summer (including some, but not all weekends).
- Knowing and understanding how machinery operates.
Essential Key Attributes
- Full UK driving licence.
- NVQ Level 2 or above or equivalent in sports turf/greenkeeping (or working towards).
- Experience of working on a golf course or within the industry.
- PA1, PA2 & PA6 (preferred).
- Have a very strong work ethic, great time management and can use their initiative.
