An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Greenkeeper to join the established team at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club. With the Club hosting the AIG Women’s Open in summer 2026 and The 156th Open in 2028, this is a rare opportunity to play a key role in preparing and presenting a world‑class championship golf course.
The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:
- A positive, can‑do, forward‑thinking attitude
- A flexible approach to working hours, including participation in weekend and bank holiday rota arrangements
- Significant practical greenkeeping experience, ideally within a high‑quality golf course environment
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf (or equivalent) as a minimum qualification
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 certificates (preferred but not essential)
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to the highest standards
- A desire to continue developing skills through training and education
- Strong communication skills
- A consistent commitment to safe working practices
