The role of Head Greenkeeper at Hessle Golf Club is a fully responsible position ensuring top-level course management, maintenance, and development. The club, an 18-hole rural parkland course within 127 acres, has hosted prestigious tournaments such as the England Golf Ladies Club Team Championship.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all aspects of course management and development.
- Have previous experience as a Head Greenkeeper.
- Hold recognised industry qualifications including NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Greenkeeping, PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates, Chainsaw and first aid certification.
- Be able to formulate and manage budgets and liaise closely with the Manager, Course Director and the Board.
- Manage and motivate the greens team to produce the best possible playing conditions whilst ensuring safe practices at all times.
This is a “hands-on” position requiring excellent leadership, staff management and communication skills with a proven track record of high-standard course upkeep and presentation.
Salary
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
