Copt Heath Golf Club – West Midlands – Central England is seeking an Equipment Technician to support the workshop operations and equipment maintenance strategy for the club. The opportunity is to contribute to machine reliability, setup, and ongoing maintenance in a refreshed maintenance facility.
The club has the ambition to continually improve playing quality, starting in the workshop with machine reliability and setup. The club has recently signed a partnership with Toro and will receive several machines imminently. Ground2Control is used to aid facility operations. You will work closely with the Course Manager to manage the busy schedule and may be required to assist the greenkeeping staff on the course from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the fleet to manufacturers guidelines
- Unit setup
- Manage maintenance schedules around the requirements of course work
- Identify faults and repair machinery
- Maintain the workshop
- Maintain the equipment budget
- Aid with procurement of machinery
- Maintain Health and Safety in the workshop
- Maintain and execute a grinding rota for all machinery in accordance with the Course Manager’s expectations
- Develop a grinding service to other local clubs
Qualifications / Skills:
- Experience of machinery maintenance
- Budgeting

- Greenkeeping experience
Further training or refresher training will be available as required.
Salary Range: £36,000 – £44,000 dependant on experience
