PENSHAW EQUESTRIAN CENTRE requires a Lead Coach for our BHS CLTH Programme. This is an opportunity to join our ever-growing team for a business established for 49 years.
Qualifications:
- Minimum BHS Stage 3 care (or equivalent)
- BHS Stage 2 teach or BHS Coaching 4 All qualification recommended to be an APC
- Up to date Safeguarding – First Aid and DBS
- Equivalent QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Sencol/TLR
Are you looking to take the next step in your career without classroom teaching responsibilities all day every day? (There may be some subjects to add in as this programme grows, e.g., Maths & English).
This is a full-time position for CLTH to be actively involved as part of #TEAMPEC with a competitive salary according to BHS & Teaching qualifications/experience.
CLTH is a BHS Alternative Provision Education Programme of regular sessions, taking place here at PEC. Your main role is to facilitate and support the development of six key life skills in young people through Equine Assisted Learning.
You will guide participants in developing communication, confidence, teamwork, building relationships, perseverance, and responsibility using the programme's structured awards and activities. You'll also work to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and the horses involved. CLTH has been running here at PEC for 3 years.
