Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified BHS Coach to join our current team. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching/supervising a busy yard and a commitment to educating and developing our riders at riding school level. As a member of our team, the right candidate will have good teamwork skills, commitment, and enthusiasm towards helping individuals reach their full potential. Ideally BHS Stage 3/4 Coach, minimum Stage 2 Coach qualification. Further training up the pathway available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver general riding and stable management sessions up to a high standard.
- Work competently with little supervision in the absence of management.
- Provide the highest level of care and presentation of our horses with unprecedented service levels to our clients.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages participation, effort, and improvement.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure consistent messaging and development across all levels.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with all staff members
- Ensure the safety of all clients during all aspects of riding/stable management sessions.
Experience
- Experience working/coaching on a busy yard.
- Exposure working with a wide variety of horse types.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate our riders effectively.
- Experience working with diverse groups of individuals is an advantage.
- A commitment to continuous personal development in coaching practices is desirable.
Minimum qualification – BHS Stage 2 Coach – Ideally BHS Stage 3/4 Coach
