Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified BHS Coach to join our current team. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching/supervising a busy yard and a commitment to educating and developing our riders at riding school level. As a member of our team, the right candidate will have good teamwork skills, commitment, and enthusiasm towards helping individuals reach their full potential. Ideally BHS Stage 3/4 Coach, minimum Stage 2 Coach qualification. Further training up the pathway available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver general riding and stable management sessions up to a high standard.
  • Work competently with little supervision in the absence of management.
  • Provide the highest level of care and presentation of our horses with unprecedented service levels to our clients.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages participation, effort, and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure consistent messaging and development across all levels.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with all staff members
  • Ensure the safety of all clients during all aspects of riding/stable management sessions.

Experience

  • Experience working/coaching on a busy yard.
  • Exposure working with a wide variety of horse types.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate our riders effectively.
  • Experience working with diverse groups of individuals is an advantage.
  • A commitment to continuous personal development in coaching practices is desirable.

Minimum qualification – BHS Stage 2 Coach – Ideally BHS Stage 3/4 Coach
