Overview

Are you looking to make a difference while working in a dynamic and fulfilling role? Are you passionate about customer-service and sustainability?

This is a part-time role working 13 hours per week. This position is for 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the store team and volunteers to ensure the efficient running of the store and the warehouse.
  • Handle and move deliveries of furniture and appliances coming into the store from vans.
  • Ensure all products meet the company\'s quality standards.
  • Assist with keeping the shop floor well stocked in collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor and in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Promote safety and wellbeing while operating with autonomy and a growing knowledge of the BHF.
  • Support the activity of volunteer team members and guide their tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in retail or service sectors and enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated by making a life-saving difference and able to be proactive, driven, and customer-focused.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and guide volunteer team members.
  • Comfort with a physically demanding role and working with furniture and electrical goods.
