The opportunity Are you looking for an opportunity to progress in store management? We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team in Wallington (SM6 0LH) so we could be the perfect match!
What does this role involve: As an Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence. Inspiring and supporting staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values, our Assistant Store Managers contribute towards the success of their stores by:
- Ensuring highest standard of customer service
- Achieving targets
- Maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising
- Maximising sales through physical and digital channels
- Supporting with the recruitment and development of volunteers
- Achieving expectations within campaign activities
- Working with the manager to generate stock
Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week which means we require flexibility from our store teams to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Please note that this role is 4 out of 7 shifts per week. Due to the volume of donations, it can be physically demanding at times, yet most rewarding as you play a part in helping to fund life‑saving research.
