Role Overview: Part‑time Sales Assistant (12 hours per week, 7 days a week, flexible weekend and bank holiday rota) at British Heart Foundation, Coventry, ENG, GB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and promoting the charity’s mission.
  • Organise and merchandise donated stock creatively to maximise sales potential.
  • Collaborate with the E‑Commerce team to maximise online sales.
  • Act as Keyholder – the go‑to person when no manager is present, keeping the store running smoothly and ensuring a great customer experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous retail experience isn’t essential – passion, energy and a commitment to outstanding customer service are vital.
  • Confident team player, able to guide volunteers on the shop floor.
  • Capable of working well under pressure and on own initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, positive, creative, confident and customer‑service focused.
  • Passionate about sustainability.
  • Comfortable with technology – using a till, PC, smartphone and e‑mail with ease.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Ability to move high volumes of donation bags – the role can be physically demanding.
