As our Product Owner - Sitecore & CMS you will play a crucial role in our mission to make a world where everyone has a healthier heart for longer, by leveraging your deep technical expertise to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge digital products and services.

About the role:

  • You will work within complex technical architectures, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of our digital solutions.
  • Your expert understanding of technical concepts and ability to navigate multiple integrated systems will be essential in shaping, building, and deploying new products, features, and enhancements.
  • You will also bring experience of Sitecore platform management, or a similar CMS, to achieve this.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of digital products and platforms, ensuring they align with our mission and perform seamlessly within complex technical environments.
  • Shape product strategy and roadmaps, translating user needs and business goals into clear requirements, and overseeing the build and deployment of new features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams, acting as a trusted technical advisor and helping to implement a modern, scalable architecture.
  • Champion Agile ways of working, line manage Product Owners, support the SCRUM community, and drive continuous improvement - while clearly demonstrating the ROI of our digital delivery efforts.
  • Set standards and share knowledge, documenting new products and processes, embedding, developing through user insight, and promoting a culture of digital innovation.

About you:

  • You will be an experienced Product Owner with a strong track record of delivering end-to-end digital products within enterprise environments.
  • Having previously worked extensively in Agile settings, particularly within SCRUM teams, where you have led discovery, refinement, and delivery phases, your experience will be backed by a solid understanding of technical systems, including Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Pipelines, and Sitecore, along with the core technology principles that support them.
  • You will have a strong background in managing live products, using key performance indicators to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Your experience will span fast-paced, multi-workstream settings, where you have collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • With excellent stakeholder engagement skills, you will have previous experience building trusted relationships across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment between business goals and user needs.
  • Strategic and resilient, you continuously seek improvement, staying up to date with the latest technological trends and applying them to enhance ROI, cost management, and benefit tracking.
  • Your leadership, planning, and organisation skills make you a driving force behind successful product delivery and innovation.

Working arrangements:

Please note this is a fixed term contract for 18 months. This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
