Are you a Solutions Architect looking to put their mark on the work at one of the country's biggest charities? Our architecture vision is to deliver a reliable and efficient technical landscape, making it easier to deliver and support technology that grows our income and delivers British Heart Foundation's (BHF) mission.
About the role: In this role, you'll develop a deep understanding of the technology and business ambitions of a key business programme in BHF, Enterprise Foundations. Working closely with the Programme and Architecture teams you'll shape workstreams and lead solution design to enable the business ambitions and fulfil the architectural vision. With a clear understanding of the suppliers, as-is configuration, and capabilities of the technology you'll provide governance and guidance to the engineering teams and suppliers to ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
Working arrangements: This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
About you: As our ideal candidate, you'll have previous knowledge and experience of Azure architecture frameworks and approaches, as well as knowledge of industry standards and best practices to ensure solutions are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
- Able to drive collaboration with virtual, multi-cultural and matrixed teams and 3rd parties.
- Able to take ownership of the deployment and service transition processes, ensuring smooth transition into operation.
- Extensive working experience in a solution architecture and technical design role, with expertise in Azure data landscapes, integrations and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to interact with stakeholders up to director level.
- Able to lead technology change initiatives, you'll work collaboratively with technology suppliers, creating both high-level and low-level designs that describe the technical architecture of a solution.
- You'll also have strong analytical skills to analyse complex business problems and requirements.
