Here at the British Heart Foundation, we are looking for self-employed Van Drivers with their own vans to help us raise much needed funds for research into beating heartbreak forever.
We are currently looking for a Driver with their own van based at our British Heart Foundation shop in Brightonand surrounding area, to follow a different route each week collecting from Book and Clothing donation bins, Universities and to collect from our loyal donors.
The Position:Is for 2-3 days per week to start. As a van driver you will be involved in a multitude of tasks which will include, but are not limited to:
Collect bags of clothing/ books from our donors and deliver them back to the shop(s).
Build strong relationships with our donors
Ensuring your van is kept clean and tidy
Completing all relevant paperwork in line with Company procedure
The Person:
Abide by our service promise They look the part, they are on time, they take care, they are here to help, and they stay safe.
Have appropriate Motor Insurance and Public Liability insurance cover.
Willing to supply a DBS check (BHF reimburse cost)
Have good local area knowledge
Can support the BHF between 0800-1800, Monday to Saturday (Can be flexible).
