We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team in Kendal (LA9 4SX). What does this role involve:
- Support the Store Manager with the day to day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
- Ensuring highest standard of customer service.
- Achieving targets.
- Maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising.
- Maximising sales through physical and digital channels.
- Supporting with the recruitment and development of volunteers.
- Achieving expectations within campaign activities.
- Working with the manager to generate stock.
Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week which means we require flexibility from our store teams to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. This is a part time 21 hour position (3 days out of 7) on a permanent contract. Due to the volume of collections and donations, it can be physically demanding at times, yet most rewarding as you play a part in helping to fund life-saving research.
