Are you an experienced team leader or supervisor in retail or hospitality, looking to progress further into a management role? We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join one of our retail home store teams, where your organisational skills and proactive approach will make a crucial contribution to selling our preloved items.
Our Warehouse Supervisors work alongside the management team to deliver key objectives and ensure that the store drives stock in and out to generate sales. You will react to fast changing situations quickly and positively by creating a safe & productive working environment. Each day is different in this varied, fast-paced and hands-on role. Due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations, it is physically demanding, yet most rewarding as you play a part in helping to fund life-saving research.
What are we looking for?
- You will be an experienced warehouse or stockroom team leader or supervisor in retail, hospitality or another customer-focused industry.
- Desirable but not essential to have stock management experience.
- Motivated, proactive and commercially driven to lead a team.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Thrives working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Results driven, resilient and able to adapt to the needs of the business.
- Comfortable with a high level of hands-on manual work that involves moving large items/volumes of stock.
Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
