Role Summary
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in our retail operations by sorting, checking, and managing donations. The work is fast‑paced, varies daily, and involves lifting large furniture pieces.
Responsibilities
- Handle and move deliveries of furniture and appliances into stores.
- Ensure the shop floor is well stocked at all times.
- Work in line with safety regulations and promote health, safety and wellbeing.
- Identify unsaleable donations for recycling.
- Keep the stockroom organised and tidy.
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience is not essential.
- Confident working within a team and able to guide volunteer activities.
