Responsibilities
- Working alongside experienced craftsmen learning all aspects of woodmachining on a structured wood machining apprenticeship.
- Main duties include processing hardwoods from the log to the finished kiln-dried products.
- Learning to set up, operate and maintain a wide variety of modern woodworking machines.
- Producing high quality timber products such as flooring, mouldings and window boards while working towards and learning Health and Safety regulations.
The company’s environmental ethos means learning about sustainability and waste management will be integrated into the role.
