Are you looking for an opportunity as a Warehouse Operative where your customer focus, accuracy and thirst for progression will be rewarded in our busy manufacturing facility? At British Gypsum we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to work in our Logistics Team helping to fulfil our customer orders in an accurate and timely manner, with a huge focus on health and safety and the ability to demonstrate our Saint-Gobain attitudes and behaviours.

This Warehouse Operative will be a part of the Logistics Team which is a small but mighty team of superstars who are responsible for assembling and loading our orders ready for despatch. We work within a Trust, Empowerment and Collaboration culture and we’re looking for someone who will embrace these behaviours and who is passionate about integrity and doing the right thing!

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday on a rotating shift pattern. You will work one week of 6-2pm and one week of 2-10pm.

What we’re looking for:

  • Warehouse experience would be ideal however we will train the right candidate who displays the correct attitudes and behaviours
  • Counterbalance FLT licence, again we are willing to train the right person
  • High level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Thrives working as part of a team

What you will be doing:

  • Driving a Counterbalance FLT to move customer orders
  • Manual handling tasks
  • Performing stock checks, auditing supplies
  • Working collaboratively with wider team to achieve site performance targets
