At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions UK & Ireland, we are looking for a Research & Insight Manager to join our Customer Experience function to help shape strategic decision-making through customer insight and evidence-led thinking. This is a newly created role with real visibility and influence across the business. You’ll become the driving force behind our customer insight capability — owning our Voice of the Customer programme, leading research initiatives, and helping stakeholders turn complex data into meaningful commercial actions.
Working closely with transformation, commercial and operational teams, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Lead & Grow strategy through insight-led decision making. Saint Gobain UK & Ireland is a worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction. Interior Solutions brings together some of the UK’s best-known interior building solution brands, delivering innovative products and systems that improve wellbeing, performance and sustainability in the built environment.
This role is based at our Head Office in East Leake with the option to work hybrid.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience designing and delivering customer research programmes, either agency-side or client-side
- Strong survey design and customer feedback management experience, ideally using tools such as Medallia or similar platforms
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to combine multiple qualitative and quantitative data sources into clear commercial insights
- Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge objectively using evidence and insight
- Knowledge of GDPR, research ethics and data governance, alongside experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI
What you will be doing:
- Leading and evolving our Voice of the Customer programme and annual research roadmap
- Managing external research agencies and delivering ad-hoc surveys aligned to critical business priorities
- Analysing customer feedback, CRM data and operational trends to identify actionable themes and growth opportunities
- Creating insight dashboards, presentations and reporting that help leaders make informed commercial decisions
- Partnering with teams across the business to connect customer insight with transformation activity, operational improvement and strategic growth initiatives
