We are currently recruiting LGV CE Drivers to join our team in Kirkby Thore, working on our contract with British Gypsum. Our client is a third‑party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from drayage, global freight forwarding and full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in a courteous manner.
- Move stock loads around the network, traveling from Kirkby Thore to Sherburn (Leeds area) and down to the Midlands, then back to Kirkby Thore.
- Drop and swap trailers that are all preloaded and strapped.
- Operate the latest equipment and adhere to FORS Gold level safety standards.
Requirements:
- Valid LGV C+E licence.
- Up‑to‑date CPC and DIGI card.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence.
