Role information:

  • 18.5 hours per week
  • Temporary for 6 months
  • Salary is £26,699 to £28,650 per annum (dependent upon experience) pro rata
  • This is a dual based role working from Lilleshall National Sports Centre, nr Newport, Shropshire and working from home.

The Role

The main purpose of the role is to deliver a professional, proactive and candidate-focused recruitment service across British Gymnastics. The Recruitment Partner is responsible for administering and coordinating the end to end recruitment process, providing specialist recruitment advice to hiring managers, supporting attraction and selection activities, participating in interviews, and managing offer and pre-employment processes. The role acts as a key point of expertise for recruitment best practice, ensuring all recruitment activities are compliant, inclusive, efficient and aligned with organisational values and workforce objectives.

Typical Activities:

  • Coordinate and deliver the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer.
  • Support hiring managers with candidate attraction strategies and sourcing approaches.
  • Provide specialist guidance to managers on recruitment processes, policies and best practice.
  • Create, publish and maintain job advertisements across relevant recruitment platforms.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and selection activities with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts of employment and associated documentation.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks including references, right to work verification and safeguarding checks where required.
  • Ensure fair, inclusive and objective selection processes are applied throughout recruitment campaigns.
  • Participate as a panel member in interviews and other assessment activities.
  • Identify recruitment process improvements and contribute to the development of policies, procedures and guidance.

About you;

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Specialist recruitment knowledge and practical expertise across the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Good understanding of recruitment and selection best practice, employment legislation and safer recruitment principles.
  • Experience of applicant tracking systems, HR systems and recruitment administration processes.
  • Ability to provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on standard recruitment matters.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) or equivalent experience.
